Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of TV shows. She is an actress from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in, her family moved to America. US. She was granted asylum and allowed to stay. Her sister in law was raised within Northern Virginia. Her career on air began by appearing in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada received an award for her performance in Chiara, who played the central character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Some of her television roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She most recently had the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). In 2008 Ghanizada was added to the cast of the General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic healing. Ghanizada was a part of Kelly who was the Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage during 2009, and was cast as a character in the television pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
