Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of TV shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents moved to the US where they were granted asylum. Her parents raised her sisters who resided in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada made her debut on the television scene by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara received her a nomination for Best Actress in a film festival. She was also an actor in a variety of television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she was in the sci-fi action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in 2008, as a part of General Hospital's Primetime spinoff General Hospital. Season two of Nightshift, she played holistic specialist the Dr. Saira Bastra. Ghanizada played Kelly, the Prada character on HBO's Entourage. The actress also joined the crew of the television show's pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, as well as executive producers T Bone Burnett.
