Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV programs. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Ghanizada was born to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the third child from two siblings. Ghanizada's on-air career began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress in a festival. The actress has also appeared on television shows like How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych as well as Castle. She most recently played an supporting role for the film Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an independent comedian on You Only Better 2009. In 2008 Ghanizada became part of the cast for the General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. as the character Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care on Night Shift's second season.
