Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her family fled Afghanistan and sought asylum in the US. The actress was born there. She is the middle daughter with two brothers and sisters, and was born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in the television industry by appearing on several National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character of Chiara an appearance for which she was awarded an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. The actress has also appeared on television shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Entourage Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. Most recently, she played as a character supporting on the show Blood Shot. Blood Shot (2009). She also appeared as an independent comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada was first seen in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic medicine. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly, the Prada actress on HBO's Entourage. She was also part of in the cast of the upcoming TV pilot Tough Trade created by Weeds creator Jenji Kuhan, as well as executive producers T Bone Burnett.
