Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul, Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her family was from Northern Virginia, and is the middle child from two siblings. Her family was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the middle child of two sisters. Her career on air began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada received the award in recognition of her role as Chiara, who played the central character in Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. Some of her television roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Recent roles included the action-science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first seen in General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. For season two of Nightshift, she played holistic doctor Dr. Saira Bastra.
