Azita Ghanizada

Azita ghanizada has appeared on a variety of TV shows in her native United States. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her parents raised her two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career being featured in numerous National Commercials. She was honored with an award for her performance of Chiara, the main character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting character on the show Blood Shot. Blood Shot (2009). Also, she was an independent comedian for You Only Better 2009. In 2008 Ghanizada became part of the cast for The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada starred as Kelly who was an actress on Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage during 2009, and was also part of the TV pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
