Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television programs. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. Her middle sister took care of her within Northern Virginia. Her career on air began with several National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). For the performance, she won at the Cannes Film Festival for the Best Actress Award. Some of her television roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting role in the action science fiction film Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 when she was cast part of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. In the second season, Night Shift, Ghanizada was Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. In 2009, Ghanizada played Kelly who was a Prada sales girl in HBO's Entourage and joined the cast of the television show's pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
