Azita Ghanizada Azita Ghanizada Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in several television series. Family members fled from Afghanistan and tried to seek for asylum in US. Her birthplace was there. She is the middle sister of two sisters and was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in the Laura Neri production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate her performance, she received a nomination at the Cannes Film Festival for Best Actress.
