"Young Sheldon" Season 5 episode 6 "Money Laundering and a Cascade of Hormones," featured an ode to Ryan Davis, who unfortunately passed away while the show was in the process of being completed. Davis was a highly regarded Sound department worker whose works was featured in a variety of famous TV and film shows. In the 50 seasons of "Young Sheldon", he was an expert mixing mixer who blended every audio component perfectly. Davis was responsible for retooling the sound elements of each episode, and also Adult Sheldon's narration. The result is a warm and nostalgic to the show. In season 4 of "Young Sheldon", he revealed his son's name of Sheldon. Davis is credited with his skills to a few amazing prequel episodes throughout his professional career. Davis is from "Young Sheldon's" Seasons 2,3, and 4, layered with throwback tunes, funny conversations, background noises from suburbs as well as football-related games and many other elements that brought the series closer to real life. The spin-off does not have a laughter track. It also gives Davis the freedom to experiment on other aspects of the original series.
